Refurbished Outdoor Furniture and BBQ Display Area at Kingston

In early 2008 the new indoor showroom adjacent to the deck was completed. This area has terrific light due to the floor to ceiling windows and looks over the Garden Centre’s artificial creek and pagoda garden. It is a great place to come for inspiration to design your outdoor living area.

New Undercover Timber Yard for Kingston

In 2006, the new 2000m2 under cover timber shed was completed on the northern side of the Kingston site behind the existing hardware store. The trade centre was relocated to its purpose built location on the ground floor of the existing hardware store.

Redeveloped Garden Centre at Huonville Opens for Business

Late in 2006, the newly developed Garden Centre at Huonville was opened for business. The additional paving displays and indoor plant area provide some terrific inspiration.

New Kitchen and Bathroom Showroom Opened at Kingston

In 2007 the Kitchen and Bathroom showroom was opened, this proved a great way to display the many great ideas we have to make those all important areas in your home sparkle. An extension to this showroom is due for completion in early April 2008.

Play Area for Phoebe

In response to a request from the Tasmania Police Charity Trust, The Fork in the Road Mitre 10 has committed materials and labour to construct an under cover play area for 3 year old Phoebe Richardson of Kingston. Phoebe suffers from Alstrom syndrome, a rare and progressive hereditary genetic disorder. One of the symptoms of Phoebe's condition is an extreme sensitivity to light.

We were actively involved in the hands on construction and financing of a covered play area to give Phoebe a better quality of life. Andrew Beadell of A B Landscaping and Bruce Price excavating, have also contributed their time and materials to the project. Hanson supplied the paving materials for the project.

New Kingston Hardware Store Extended

In December 2007 the extension to the existing hardware store at Kingston was completed. This has allowed for an improved housewares, fishing/boating and flat pack furniture offer.
